You're much more likely to find a warm, friendly welcome in a delightful family home, be it B&B inn, cottage, bungalow, house or villa. At a B&B you will experience not only a sumptuous morning feast, but extremely comfortable bedrooms that you won't want to leave!
Bed and breakfast accommodation offers travellers the opportunity to experience life as it is for New Zealanders from all walks of life. Some bed and breakfast owners may be farmers and operate working farms, some B&B owners may live in the heart of busy cities or towns and some bed and breakfast accommodations may be situated in large family homes, which the children have left.
Bed and breakfasts, as their name suggests, almost always include breakfast in their tarrif, but you may find that dinner and drinks with your hosts is also an option and available for an additional cost.
