Spring Fashion Events
Wondering what to wear and when to wear it? To find out what's turning heads this spring, get your derriere up to Auckland and Wellington for the two main fashion events of the season. Auckland plays hosts once more to New Zealand Fashion Week from Tuesday 21st to Saturday 25th September, with a number of events planned especially for those outside the trade, the great and glorious general public.
Meanwhile in Wellington, the World of Wearable Art is open to all in a series of two-hour performances running from 23rd September to 3rd October described as "Mardi Gras meets Haute Couture at a Peter Gabriel concert directed by Salvador Dali"... Sadly tickets for most shows are already sold out, so you may have to hunt around for offers/trades/auctions on the Internet... or book the dates in your diary for 2011!

Montana World of Wearable Art
If you don't make it this year, make Wellington your 'mission possible' for 2011 because these performances are something special.
The two-hour long shows have been described as a 'glorious rebellion against the mundane, where you enter a world of dreams and fantasies and witness an extraordinary procession of incredible works of art. A world where art and the human form combine in a sensory feast of amazing sound scapes, stunning lighting, dance and drama. There is no narration, no explanation and no language barriers - an unforgettable extravanganza that inspires and enthrals all who see it.'
