Visual Extravaganzas in Auckland
Keep your eyes open for two amazing shows in Auckland this August and September. Maori Cultural Experiences

The best known of the Cook Islands is Rarotonga, a popular destination for New Zealanders, Australians, families and honeymooners from all over the world. Spa Treatments in New Zealand and the South Pacific
Holidays are all about relaxation and de-stressing. You may want to climb every mountain – New Zealand is home to some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world after all – but you may also just want to lie back and rest mind, body and soul in some of the very best spa and beauty resorts. Take a look at what's available in New Zealand and other islands in the South Pacific...(more)

A hangi (or earth oven) is the best known traditional form of cooking for New Zealand Maori. To 'lay a hangi' or 'put down a hangi' means using this traditional Maori method of cooking food in a pit oven. This is a long process which starts with the digging of a pit, heating stones in the pit with a large fire, placing wire baskets of covered food (such as meat, poultry, vegetables and steamed puddings) on top of the stones and covering everything with earth. After several hours, the hangi is all uncovered and lifted. Hangis are made on special occasions.
