The Hotel St George offers Wellington backpackers and student accommodation for short term and long term city living.

This historic building is one of Wellington's iconic hotels and was host to The Beatles in 1964.

Hotel St George offers a number of room types to suit couples or single travellers wanting affordable accommodation in the heart of Wellington.
Studio with en suite – These units at our Wellington student accommodation are an average size with either a double or single bed suitable for a couple or a single person. Most en suites include a shower over bath.
Two Bedrooms shared Bathroom – These units are smaller than the studio and share a bathroom in the middle of the rooms.
Backpacker Single – Ideal room for a backpacker in Wellington looking for affordable accommodation in the central city. Shared bathroom/showers at the end of the hallway.
Backpacker Double and Twin with en suite – Two single beds and en suite bathroom.
Each room at our Wellington backpackers and student accommodation is complete with bed, beside table, desk and chair, drawers and a wardrobe. Each level has a small kitchenette for tea, coffee and breakfast.
A larger kitchen is available in the common area of our Wellington backpackers for cooking a meal or to relax and watch Sky TV. Our student accommodation in Wellington also offers a on-site laundry.

Highlights of Wellington
Wellington City is compact and interesting, nestled between a dramatic harbour and bush clad hills. Great views can be found at the top of Mount Victoria, or by catching the cable car up to the Botanic Gardens. Downtown Wellington is ideally explored on foot.
