Our Akaroa apartments are situated directly opposite the main wharf, where you can catch the glistening sea views. Our accommodation in Akaroa is also on the site of the first residential hotel in New Zealand!

Waterfront Superior Suites
Gorgeous and tranquil suites with creative interior design offering a king size bed, large spa bath, powerful showers, Sky TV, CD player, coffee, tea and toast making facilities, and a living area. These rooms also have large doors and folding windows which open out into your own private balcony with spectacular views of the beautiful Akaroa Harbour.

The Luxury Bruce Apartments
Treat yourself to absolute luxury in the stylish, state-of-the art waterfront Bruce Apartments. These Akaroa apartments are modern, spacious and have two bedrooms, one room with a queen-size bed, the second with two singles. Full cooking facilities, CD stereo, Sky TV, under floor heating, outdoor private balconies and garden courtyards.

La Voyager Units
Upstairs and downstairs with glistening sea views, these units have two bedrooms. Full cooking facilities, separate lounge area, Sky TV, balconies or courtyards. Located opposite the main wharf and across the road from many cafes, restaurants these units are the ultimate in comfort.

Jacques Village
Nestled under the phoenix palms in our sheltered courtyard, Jacques units are an economical way of enjoying Akaroa. These French inspired units are two-bedroom (except for one large three-bedroom alternative). They all have tea, coffee and toast making facilities and many have bench top cooking and microwaves.

The Old Shipping Office
A luxury historic building that has been transformed into beautiful accommodation. It has two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed, the second with two singles, separate lounge, kitchen with bench top cooking and outside courtyard. The bathroom has a lovely big spa bath and the lounge has a cosy gas fire.

Conferences at Akaroa Village Inn

With the restoration of Akaroa's historic Boat Club, the Akaroa Village Inn has become Akaroa's conference specialists.

Conference guests, internationally and nationally, have been treated to the magic of the Akaroa Harbour with its breathtaking views, great cuisine, and outstanding personal service.

As our Akaroa accommodation includes 40 units and the use of Akaroa's leading restaurants such as Bully Hayes, the Akaroa Village Inn can cater for five to a hundred delegates.

The Akaroa Village Inn will build your personal conference package and cater to your individual needs, which may include enjoying a twilight cruise aboard the Canterbury Cat often in the company of Akaroa's own Hectors Dolphins.
