The Terraces at Ocean Beach is our Mount Maunganui holiday accommodation offering luxurious and affordable apartment-style accommodation, right across the road from the beach. Our apartments in Mt Maunganui are fully self-contained with each apartment having its own balcony to enjoy the views.

Mount Maunganui has for many years been New Zealand's premier summer playground, enjoying a wonderfully temperate climate and kilometres of welcoming coastline, its beautiful white sands kissed by the South Pacific Ocean.

Ideally located close to Baypark Speedway the new Baywave Aquatic Centre. We are also handy to the Bayfair Shopping Complex for all your shopping needs. It's a 700-metre stroll down Girven Road.

Our Mount Maunganui Holiday Accommodation

There are 22 apartments available at our Mount Maunganui holiday accommodation, consisting of three bedrooms and two bathrooms that can be rented as one, two, or three-bedroom units. They are on three levels with balconies on the middle and top floors.

The top floor has two bedrooms with a separate bathroom.

The middle floor contains a fully self-contained high quality kitchen with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and all cutlery and utensils are provided. There is also a lounge with Sky TV and dining area.

The bottom floor has a third bedroom with an en suite bathroom. It also has its own laundry and a single lock-up garage.

Seasonal and long-term rates apply. Off-season specials are also available so contact us to get up-to-date rates or specials.

For the avid fisher, sailor or scuba diver, the waters off The Bay of Plenty boast an abundance of opportunity and beauty. If your interests are more land-based, such as golf, tennis, bowls, cycling or horse-riding, the area offers a wealth of leisure activities and facilities.

We have two golf courses (Mt Maunganui and Omanu) within four kilometres of of the complex. Baypark Stadium is 1.5 kilometres away.

You can take in the sun and surf and relax on the sandy beach which is only 150 metres away. We have a beach access opposite the complex.

Across the harbour from Tauranga, the horizon is dominated by the volcanic cone of Mauao. The mountain is shrouded in history and provides an excellent hiking challenge. Mount Maunganui, the resort town at the base of the mountain, is focused on surf, adventure and fun.

The beach that begins here at Mount Maunganui doesn't stop until it reaches Whakatane, 100 kilometres to the east. Whakatane is the launching pad for expeditions to White Island, New Zealand's only active marine volcano, and also one of the most accessible active volcanoes in the world.
