Dusky Lodge Introduction

Dusky Lodge is more than just a backpackers, we offer a friendly, relaxed and homely environment to unwind.

Our Kaikoura backpackers features natural carved timbers throughout. A great place to relax and take in the great views from our extensive decks.

We welcome group bookings at Dusky Lodge hostel in Kaikoura. Spit roast, barbeque or pizza meals are available upon request.

Accommodation at our Kaikoura Backpackers

Chose from a range of accommodation options at our Kaikoura backpackers. You can chose to share your accommodation with others or take a twin or double with en suite room. The dorms take four, six or ten people.

We have three cosy lounges each with a log burner for you to sit back and relax at your days end.

Our hostel in Kaikoura offers the following features:
