Island Views South Auckland bed and breakfast is situated high on the cliff face overlooking Eastern Beach.
Our bed and breakfast accommodation at Auckland's Eastern Beach has stunning views of Waitemata harbour and the islands of the Hauraki Gulf. We are well positioned on the Bucklands Beach Peninsula, with access to two wonderful swimming beaches.
If you want to do business in the nearby city, or shop, there are regular bus and ferry services from our South Auckland bed and breakfast.
The Howick village is an eight minutes' drive, and the major shopping centres of Botony, Pakuranga, and Sylvia Park are 15 to 20 minutes away.
When you come to stay, your hosts will be Kelly and Cathy. They have lived in Eastern Beach since the early 1980s, and both have a tremendous interest in the Howick and Pakuranga area.
They both take pleasure in cooking, good wine, fine food fishing and boating, and share their home with two ginger cats called Hades and Cassius.

Bucklands Beach Peninsula – a large promontory, bounded by the Tamaki River and Eastern Beach. Named after Alfred Buckland who owned the whole peninsula as a farm, this is now a well populated residential area with a wide variety and style of housing. Howick golf course provides an interesting days outing, and Maclean's reserve provides spectacular views.
Eastern Beach – Stretching for one kilometre, this is a safe swimming beach edged in white sand and local popularity. The middle of the beach houses “Oasis on the Beach” a restaurant that provides coffee and muffins, delicious lunches and sumptuous dinners.
Bucklands Beach – bounding the Tamaki River, you can stroll along the parade and admire the boats, watch the fishermen, or take a dip in the water.
