A warm welcome will greet you at 151 The Spur Bed and Breakfast homestay in Christchurch, New Zealand. Our new Oamaru stone home is situated on one of the city's most loved hill suburbs, Moncks Spur Hill in Redcliffs, Christchurch.

We overlook the beautiful Pegasus Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Nestled in a peaceful garden of native bush and birds we are well away from traffic noise. Imagine waking up to birds singing outside you window.

Christchurch Bed and Breakfast Homestay

We provide friendly accommodation with two well-appointed double rooms with quality linen. One room has a queen bed and the other two single beds and private bathroom with soft fluffy towels, underfloor heating, mirror demist, heated towel rails, hairdryer, and bathrobes.

To add to your relaxation a selection of the latest magazines is at your bedside.

Off both rooms is your own terrace where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and complimentary home baking while absorbing the view and reflect on the day. Your feeling of 'home away from home' is important to us as is your privacy so we only take one booking at a time. We are happy to assist with your holiday plans and activities as we want to make your visit a memorable one.

A scrumptious breakfast is included in the tariff.

Angela and Allan your hosts, are both born and bred Kiwis with a love of the outdoors from gardening, tramping, golfing and fishing. We have travelled both overseas and within New Zealand.

We are passionate about our country and love sharing it with others. Talk to us about your holiday sightseeing; we offer personalised tours for up to four people in our new comfortable 4x4 vehicle, ranging from half-day city sightseeing to a full South Island tour. We can take you to all those hidden places!

You will be only five minutes from the Sumner beach and local village with its many excellent cafés and restaurants or we can provide dinner by prior arrangement.

The weather we cannot guarantee but a glass of New Zealand wine and good humour we can!
