Hulmes Court B & B Introduction
Hulmes Court B & B and Hulmes Too are two beautiful, historic, Dunedin bed and breakfast accommodation homes, next door to each other.
Our Dunedin B&B accommodation is just a three-minute walk from the visitor centre in the Octagon, theatres, restaurants, shops, art gallery and more.
Norman, his wife Zina (fluent in the Russian language) and his staff are youthful, energetic, intelligent and educated. Our Dunedin bed and breakfast offers free Internet and laundry, plus Solstice the cat!
The Hulmes Court B & B is one of the most historic homes in Dunedin. It was built in the 1860s by the first provincial surgeon Edward Hulme who helped found the Medical School. Hulmes Too is a large Edwardian home built next to Hulmes Court on the grounds of the original estate.
Our Dunedin bed and breakfast has a variety of rooms to cater for all tastes from the economical and cute single Rose room, double rooms with share bathroom, to our standard double en suites, through to our premium en suite rooms in Hulmes Too.
Most rooms at our Dunedin B&B accommodation can be configured as twins as well.
There is plenty of off-street parking in our grounds of trees and gardens at our Dunedin bed and breakfast, providing tranquility from the hustle and bustle so near by. You can move indoors, sit in front of the large marble fireplace in our Dunedin bed and breakfast and enjoy fine conversation in the drawing room which is also the breakfast room for the following morning.
You are also free to look through Norman's personal book and video collection, which you are most welcome to use and enjoy.
Your host Norman Wood, his wife Zina (fluent in the Russian language) and his staff are frequent travellers around New Zealand and the world. Our Dunedin bed and breakfast will provide you with a warm, friendly and informative stay in our beautiful city.
