Blue Ridge Boutique Accommodation Introduction

Blue Ridge is our boutique accommodation in Fiordland, a special place to stay with warm and friendly service, delicious breakfasts, and beautifully appointed rooms.

Set in a quiet residential area away from traffic noise, we are but a few minutes walk from the Te Anau town centre where you'll find an excellent range of cafes, bars and shops.

Close by to our Fiordland luxury bed and breakfast is the lake front, golf course, and the Kepler Track, well known for its' three to four-day circuit.

Our aim is to provide you with friendly, helpful service in beautiful surroundings. All rooms face the sun and have views of the Kepler and Murchison mountains.

Boutique Accommodation in Fiordland

We offer three brand-new, luxurious self-contained units that are decorated in neutral tonings, yet accented with tasteful luxurious draperies.

The beds in two of our rooms are king twin beds, and one has a queen bed. In UK standards these would be super king and king beds respectively.

Our en suite bathrooms are complemented by underfloor heating, and accessories such as towel rails, heaters and hairdryers. We also supply bathrobes and complimentary toiletries for your convenience.

• Rooms with individually controlled electric heating

Our home also contains a suite with en suite bathroom, bedroom and sitting room. Two extra people can also be accommodated here by making use of rollaway beds, if required.

Each of our units has a kitchenette which contains everything you need to prepare a lunch or a simple meal, providing such facilities as a fridge and microwave, sink, and of course, tea and coffee making facilities.

When you wake up the next morning after your stay, a delicious breakfast will be awaiting you, which you may enjoy either in the dining room, or as a hamper delivered to your bedroom the night before.

About Te Anau

Dubbed "The international walking capital of the world", the town of Te Anau is the gateway to some of the best walking experiences on the globe—the Milford, Hollyford, Kepler, Greenstone and Routeburn tracks. All offer the freedom to walk, either independently or guided, among dramatic bush and mountain scenery where you'll walk side-by-side with nature.

As well as strolling in the great outdoors, all sorts of other activities can be arranged from Te Anau, including scenic flights, launch cruises, sea kayaking, underwater diving, fishing, cycling and sightseeing.

The Fiordland Region

Prepare to be amazed by Fiordland, a land of many moods, a land of contrasts carved out by glaciers. From shimmering alpine lakes to majestic snow capped mountains covered in ancient rain forest, the scenery will leave you awestruck. Doubtful Sound's remoteness and solitude will tale you back to how the world used to be.

In Milford Sound waterfalls tumble hundreds of metres into steep fiords and on a fine day it sparkles like a rare jewel but is equally impressive on a stormy day when thunder echoes around the fiord, and a myriad of waterfalls spring into life. Whilst cruising the fiords you may see Fiordland bottle nosed dolphins, New Zealand fur seals and Fiordland crested penguins.

Fiordland is New Zealand's largest national park and a world heritage area, spanning 3.5 million acres and is home to the famous Milford, Routeburn and Kepler walking tracks.
