Our accommodation in Kaikoura is conveniently located in the heart of Kaikoura with magnificent hilltop views of sea and mountains.
Five minutes' walk takes you to Kaikoura's main street where you can enjoy local Rock Lobster.

Nikau Lodge comprises of one king twin en suite, four queen en suites and one queen with private bathroom.
Nikau Cottage is also available, this is a self-contained three-bedroom house, or two queen rooms and one twin, all share bathroom.

Kaikoura is a seaside settlement situated halfway between Christchurch and Picton, nd is approximately three hours drive north of Christchurch.
Gateway to the Southern Ocean's Marine Mammal Sanctuary, Kaikoura is one of the rare places where you can see whales, dolphins, seals, albatross, penguins and many species of pelagic ocean birds in a single day.
Giant sperm whale can be seen all year round off Kaikoura and is the third largest whale in the world, only beaten by the blue and fin whales.
