Our Wairarapa luxury cottage accommodation is just a short stroll away from the cafés and shops of Greytown. The beautiful homestead is set amongst landscaped gardens, graced by mature trees and a stunning mountain vista.

Once you have settled in and had a good look around it will dawn on you what a relaxing time is in store. Everywhere you look the attention to detail and the pure quality of our Greytown luxury accommodation is evident.

Greytown Luxury Accommodation

Set on nine acres of land, our Wairarapa luxury cottage accommodation is all about peace and serenity. The grounds are beautiful with formal gardens, mature trees, a pond and stream, and paddocks grazed by black-faced sheep.

Westwood homestead can sleep seven people in all, it has three super-king/twin bedrooms, and one single. Three with en suites, one with private bathroom.

You'll be blown away by the quality—all rooms have a luxurious atmosphere without being stuffy or pretentious. The bathrooms that accompany them (three en suite) are equally well appointed.

Cherry Cottage – Nestled in the spacious grounds of Westwood is Cherry Cottage. Fully self-contained and very private, it can sleep six and is just a short stroll from the main house.

A stylish example of simple 1950's architecture, the whole light-filled cottage embraces its garden setting. An ideal, romantic getaway for two, it can sleep up to six if you feel like sharing.

About Greytown

Historical Greytown is New Zealand's first inland town. It has retained its delightful colonial village character with careful preservation of the many wooden Victorian buildings.

A leisurely stroll reveals a superb range of specialty shopping—including antiques, crafts, gift shops and galleries. Take a break at one of Greytown's excellent cafes or restaurants for a taste of a charming bygone era.

But don't assume that the Wairarapa is all about taking it easy. Adventure activities of every kind can be found here, from rafting, caving and rap jumping to 4WD (four-wheel drive) safaris and bungy jumping. And if you want to get acquainted with some of New Zealand's rarest inhabitants, head for the Mount Bruce National Wildlife centre.

Set amidst a pocket of ancient rainforest, this centre is where the New Zealand Department of Conservation runs its captive breeding programme for threatened bird species. Visitors can take a walk with a professional conservation officer through natural bush aviaries. Beyond Masterton lies the wild, dramatic scenery of Castle Point beach, complete with a picturesque lighthouse that looks across the sea towards Antarctica.
