Close to the centre of Greymouth, Rosewood Bed & Breakfast is our beautifully restored bed and breakfast accommodation in Greymouth, on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.

With five spacious and individually furnished rooms, three with en suite bathrooms, private lounge and dining room, and quiet gardens, this West Coast bed and breakfast accommodation is ideally situated for holiday makers, small groups of friends and business people.

Our bed and breakfast accommodation in Greymouth is only 10 to 15 minutes walk from the centre of Greymouth with its cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries.

All five rooms at our West Coast bed and Breakfast accommodation are tastefully furnished with top quality beds, TV, clock radio, hairdryer, direct-dial telephone, wardrobes and chests of drawers, plus electric blankets and heaters for those colder months. The bathrooms are modern and have complimentary toiletries.

Rose and Koru Rooms – Two rooms on the ground floor, both with queen-size beds. The grander of the two rooms is at the front of the house with magnificent bay window and own bathroom with bath and shower overhead. The other is situated at the back of the house making it very quiet, and is a very light room which gets the sun all day. The en suite for this room has facilities for the disabled.

Sea Blick – This upstairs room has the best view where you can look out to sea and catch a glimpse of the sunsets. Although it too has a queen-size bed, the room is somewhat smaller but ideal for those travelling with their own child, with Mum and Dad next door. The spacious bathroom is across the hall.

Cherry – With a queen-size bed and a single bed, this very spacious room can act as a double, twin or triple. With windows on two sides you awake to the sun. The spacious bathroom is directly across the hall with a full-size bath, and the separate shower and toilet can be on a private use basis or shared basis with the single room. This room together with the single room are ideal for families.

Mona's Room – Space is again the feature of this room with a super-king-twin bed. You can relax here with a drink on the couch before taking a shower in the extra large en suite. There'll be no problem here for both of you to get ready at the same time. A special room for those on their honeymoon or celebrating something special.

Greymouth hosts an enticing range of activities only minutes from the town centre, including the Art Gallery, History House and the walk on the flood wall which protects the town from the mighty Grey River.

Float through underground streams on a cave rafting adventure. View Hectors dolphins, bird nesting sites and fur seals on an ocean boat tour or take a horse trek or an off road adventure amongst the hauntingly beautiful rain forest.

Wild Foods Festival – Take your taste buds on roller coaster trip of a lifetime at the annual Hokitika Wildfoods Festival! An annual festival celebrating the tastes of the wild West Coast, featuring huhus, possum pies and whitebait in many cloaks, cows' udders, Chatham Island seagulls, paua titties (roe), bull, lamb and goat testicles, gorse flower wine and gourmet garden snails.

Finding adequate accommodation in Hokitika during this festival is not so simple. Rosewood Bed & Breakfast is located just 45 minute's drive up the coast from Hokitika, making it the ideal base for the festival and other regional attractions.
