Our luxury Bay of Islands accommodation consists of two stylish, modern apartments with a nautical theme, designed and meticulously created over two years by fine craftsmen. It opened in 2003 for discerning travellers.

This Bay of Islands luxury accommodation is located entirely over the water in the heart of the township of Opua adjacent to the car ferry to Russell and, on the other side, the Opua beach. Both luxury apartments at our Opua accommodation offer sweeping views over the Bay of Islands from Veronica Channel to Waitangi, the Black Rocks and beyond.

Each of our luxury apartments in the Bay of Islands has a living area, including balconies, of 142 square metres (over 1,500 square feet). Our Bay of Islands luxury accommodation is fully self-contained and includes a spacious lounge, fully equipped kitchen and laundry, and outdoor furnishing including gas barbecue.

The Landing – Accommodates four guests. One bedroom with king-size double bed, and the second bedroom with two singles or one king-double, as you choose.

Location of our Opua Accommodation

A township established in the late 1800's, Opua has fewer than 1,000 residents but boasts its own school, post office, an over-water restaurant, a modern marina, a large wharf, yacht club and the historic over-water Opua Store where you can find almost everything you need, from freshly baked croissants to fish hooks, wine and beer.

Every year some 400 international yachts arrive in Opua, their first port of call in New Zealand, enhancing the atmosphere of the small town with international flavours and languages. For some of these sailors it was love at first sight and they are now counted among Opua's residents.
