The Farm at Cape Kidnappers is our Hawke's Bay luxury lodge, 'The Farm' as it is called, promises to be a five-star experience like its sister lodge 'Kauri Cliffs' in Northland.
Set on a 6,000-acre working sheep and cattle farm, which encompasses land reminiscent of the American West but plunges 800 feet straight into the sea, featuring an 18 hole oceanside golf course designed by Tom Doak.
One of New Zealand's most important wine districts, Cape Kidnappers has a rich history beginning with its discovery by Captain James Cook in 1769.
Each cottage suite at our Hawke's Bay luxury lodge has air conditioning, high speed wireless Internet, remote control flat-screen LCD TV, DVD, CD player with iPod connection, safe, complimentary mini bar, spacious bathroom, separate WC and shower stalls, oversized bath tub, and twin vanities.
180 degree panoramic views of the farm, golf course and Pacific Ocean are enjoyed from each suite's private balcony. Interior design is by Linda Bedell of Aspen, Colorado.
Lodge Suite – Our largest suites, located inside the lodge building offering the convenience of proximity to lodge facilities, full (wet) mini bars.
Ridge Suite – Situated atop the skyline ridge to the southwest of and a short walk from the Lodge. Spacious, comfortable and private with fireplaces and full (wet) mini bars.
Hilltop Suite – Situated on top of the hill above the lodge offering comfort and spectacular vistas. Two Hilltop Suites have the option to add an interconnecting second smaller bedroom.
Hilltop Rooms – Can be used in conjunction with a Hilltop Suite or as a stand alone bedroom, with shower only.
Owners Cottage – Four deluxe bedrooms with fireplaces, large bathrooms, walk-in closets and private balconies. Large living room with stone fireplace, open kitchen and dining area.
Two small sitting rooms with fireplaces, TVs and comfortable seating. Entrance foyer, powder room, stone terrace and outdoor jacuzzi. Can be rented as a two-bedroom or four-bedroom house.

By Airplane:
Air New Zealand operates at least eight scheduled flights daily from Auckland (55 minutes) or Wellington (50 minutes) to Napier (Hawke's Bay) airport. Charter jets and propeller planes can also be organized. We will meet your flight upon request.
By Helicopter:
Helicopters operate nationwide and travel from Auckland, Wellington or Taupo can be arranged. Travel direct to The Farm at Cape Kidnappers from Auckland is approximately one hour 45 minutes, Wellington flight time is one hour 20 minutes and from Taupo the flight time is 30 to 35 minutes.
