Carrington Resort Introduction

Carrington Resort is a 3,000 acre estate and luxury accommodation in Northland with four spectacular kilometres of secluded white sand coastline.

Our luxury retreat in Northland incorporates a championship-standard 18-hole golf course, an acclaimed vineyard and winery, a working Black Angus beef stud farm and 900 acres of restored wetlands on site.

Located in Northland's Karikari Peninsula, Carrington Resort's world class recreational facilities include a heated infinity swimming pool plus spa pool, two championship tennis courts, Olympic standard clay and skeet target shooting range and a gymnasium.

A wide range of leisure activities including horse riding, fishing and scuba diving are also easily arranged for guests at our luxury accommodation in Northland.

Luxury Accommodation in Northland

Carrington Resort provides both lodge and villa accommodation in Northland.

Lodge Rooms – Lodge accommodation include ten spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms with private bathrooms, a California-king-size bed and satellite TV. Each Lodge Room at our luxury retreat in Northland opens onto a wide veranda with views to the ocean, golf course or native bush and vineyard. The lodges are connected by veranda walkways to the library, restaurant and guests' lounge.

Villas – Self-contained three bedroom Villas are fully appointed and provide ideal facilities for families or groups.

On the ground floor a central wood-burning fireplace graces the living and dining area, and a veranda overlooks the golf course and ocean. Villas also have a fully equipped kitchen, toilet, satellite TV, air-conditioning and private garage on the ground floor.

The second floor has a master-bedroom with en suite bathroom and balcony, providing sweeping views of the golf course and Pacific ocean, a second double-bedroom and bathroom (twins available), and a single bedroom.

The Villas can accommodate up to five persons and include the use of all Carrington Resort facilities.

Weddings in Northland

Carrington Resort offers stunning indoor and outdoor options for your wedding.

Your ceremony could take place either in the beautifully landscaped grounds of the resort or on the front lawn of the Winery, both with the panoramic backdrop of the wetlands, Karikari Beach and Great Exhibition Bay.

Your wedding reception would then be held in either the resort's restaurant or in the winery's rustic Barrel Hall, where you and your guests will enjoy great food and award winning wines from Karikari Estate surrounded by barrels of wine and candlelight.
