Our luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation on Waiheke Island enjoys 360° sea views, and faces north to maximise the sunshine and stunning views down the coastline over Oneroa beach to Coromandel and Great Barrier Island.

Lavender Hill is the culmination of the dream of Judy and David Sheary, to build a rustic Tuscan inspired farmhouse, with luxury guest accommodation in beautiful Church Bay on Waiheke Island, Auckland, New Zealand.

Careful attention to detail was required to replicate the look and feel of an old Tuscan farmhouse. Wonderful antique furniture, rustic plaster walls with aged exposed beams throughout, lovingly restored French Oak doors, complete with hand forged hinges and latches, give Lavender Hill a very special warmth and character that will make you want to return again and again.

The gardens around Lavender Hill are landscaped to give the feeling of natural beauty.

The grounds are planted with New Zealand natives along with Lavender and Rosemary working in perfect harmony. A large north facing lawn running down to our olive grove completes the picture.

Our Luxury Bed and Breakfast on Waiheke Island

The luxury Lavender and Olive Suites are separate from the main farmhouse, affording guests total privacy. Each has its own patio and outdoor table and chairs for watching the sun set (perfect for sharing a bottle of Waiheke wine with the one you love).

Each suite is understated country style with king-size beds, luxuriously appointed, with fine imported bed linens, plump goose feather pillows and comforters to ensure your utmost pleasure.

Your bathroom encompasses a walk in European style shower, white fluffy robes, under-floor heating, professional hairdryer, exquisite quality towels and a selection of French toiletries to pamper yourself during your stay.

The entertainment unit is complete with satellite TV, DVD, CD and radio. A good selection of DVD movies and music CDs are supplied and an excellent selection of reading material magazines and books for your pleasure.

Each suite has a slide out refrigerated bar, able to present at perfect temperature a good selection of Waiheke and New Zealand award winning wines available to you at very competitive prices. Beer and fruit juices are also available in the bar with tasty snacks to enjoy with your drinks.

The Beach House

For that romantic stay, on this beautiful beach, our two-bedroom luxury apartment has expansive views of Onetangi beach and sea, and its own walkway to the sand and private BBQ area for guests.

Two double bedrooms both have individual en-suites. Configuration of one bedroom can be one king bed or two singles and the other one queen bed.

A well furnished lounge and dining area complete with Sky TV, DVD, CD and radio.

A fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. Large bi-fold windows open up the front of the apartment to give a wonderful view of the beach and sea below (listen to the waves lapping the sands).

All linen and towels are supplied, and the apartment is serviced on departure, or weekly for longer stays.
