Napier Holiday Home Accommodation
We offer unique surroundings for what was originally a New Zealand railway goods shed, built of native heart timber.
This fabulous old building was earmarked for demolition, but we rescued and relocated it to our property in 2003.
Lovingly restored it to its former glory, we successfully created a 1920s villa dwelling in the northern side of the building, situated for all day sun on the large decks and through the French doors.
The Goods Shed Lodge has two very large bedrooms with double beds in them, and we are able to add other beds as necessary. We also have a very large bathroom with large bath and full laundry facilities available.
Our boutique villa accommodation in Napier is complete with quality early New Zealand furniture and Turkish rugs combining the best of old and new for your pleasure.

About Napier
An art deco weekend in Napier
Hawke's Bay, New Zealand

Napier is the largest city in the Hawke's Bay region in the North Island of New Zealand.
Known as the art deco city, Napier was almost levelled in the earthquake of 1931. The city centre was completely rebuilt in the art deco and Spanish mission styles of the day. This heritage has been preserved by the Napier Art Deco Trust and Napier now attracts visitors from all over the world. In February each year Napier celebrates its heritage with “Art Deco Weekend”.
Napier is not only popular because of its beautiful architecture, but also because of its pleasant climate, and many wonderful beaches. A popular holiday resort city, Napier is also known as the “City of Palms”.
