Our holiday home in Nelson is set on the hill above the famous "Cut". Both morning and evening, enjoy outdoor living in beautiful gardens which abound with bird life.

Our Holiday Home in Nelson

There are three apartments at our holiday house in Nelson, a three-bedroom on the top floor, a two-bedroom and a single-bedroom on a ground floor.

All apartments at Kimberley House feature:

• Lounge with Sky digital TV and video
• Bedrooms with Sky digital TV
• Bathrooms with heated towel rails, hair-driers and luxurious bathrobes
• Off street parking
• Laundry facilities
• Luxury furnishings with comfortable couches and chairs

Apartment Three – This apartment has three bedrooms, furnished with hand-crafted timber furniture. Beds are king-size, queen-size and one super-king/twin bed.

All bedrooms have radio clocks and TVs plus en suites, with shower, heated towel rail and hair dryer. One en suite has shower/bath and bidet.

Apartment Two – Apartment Two faces West, with sea and garden views, luxuriously furnished with comfortable couches and lazy boy chairs.

The two bedrooms are well appointed, with TVs and super-king/twin beds. Each en suite has a shower, hair dryer, luxurious bathrobes, heated towel rails, heated tiled floors and wall heaters.

The kitchen is modern with a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, stove and microwave. The lounge and dining area is comfortable with Sky digital TV and stereo sound plus a video system.

Apartment One – This is a one-bedroom, self-contained apartment with a super-king/twin bed, full stereo/radio and video system in the lounge, and Sky digital TV in both the lounge and bedroom.

The bathroom has a king-size bathtub/shower, heated towel rail, hair dryer and luxurious bathrobes. The kitchen has fridge/deep-freeze, wall oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and drier.

Activities at our Holiday Home in Nelson

In the summer be entertained with outdoor activities, including swimming, sailing, wind surfing, water-skiing, sea and white-water kayaking, mountain biking, roller blading and hiking.

Golfing and trout fishing are specialities of Nelson. A 15 minute walk brings you to the beautiful and popular Tahunanui beach.

In the winter you can enjoy snowboarding and skiing at the nearby Nelson Lakes National Park or else you can relax and enjoy the sensational vista from the centrally heated lounge.

There are wonderful wilderness park walks. Kimberley House is a few minutes' walk from the well known Boat Shed Café and other excellent restaurants. A five-minute drive brings you to central Nelson with many fine restaurants and the arts and craft galleries, and Nelson's weekend market.

Nelson and Marlborough area is world famous for it's wines, one-hour away are the many wineries of the Blenheim area, including Cloudy Bay Estate.
