Grand Mercure Puka Park Resort is situated on a mountainside on the lower eastern side of the Coromandel Peninsula at Pauanui Beach. Our Coromandel hotel accommodation is nestled amongst 25 acres of beautiful native bush, and less than two hours drive from Auckland.

Our Coromandel resort's 48 chalets are tucked away amongst lush bush, designed to harmonize perfectly with the surrounding environment. Each chalet at our Coromandel hotel has its own private balcony opening out into the bush—awake to the sound of native birds amongst the trees!

Tree-hut Chalet – One standard room with a separate en suite bathroom.

Superior Bush Chalet – One large room with a separate en suite bathroom and bath. Extra sofa bed in some chalets.

Executive Suite – Stand alone chalet with a separate bedroom and a spacious living area.

Royal Puka Suite – A free standing two leveled chalet. Downstairs is one bedroom, separate bathroom and large lounge area. An extensive balcony leads off the lounge complete with outdoor furniture. Upstairs is a master bedroom adjacent to a third double/twin bedroom, both share an upstairs bathroom.

All chalets can have a rollaway bed on request at an additional charge.

Up to two children under 16 years of age can stay free of charge when sharing a room with their parents or grandparents, subject to using existing bedding or a sofa bed.
