The Crown Hotel Napier Introduction

The Crown Hotel Napier is a timeless and elegant hotel offering the ultimate combination of classic opulence and modern luxury and design. The hotel's 45 guestrooms and suites offer 5-star, self contained-serviced boutique accommodation.

Choose from the elegant heritage suites in the renovated original 1932 Crown Hotel, modern contemporary rooms overlooking the ocean, or 2-3 bedroom luxury apartments. Also provided are complimentary car parking, access to laundry and fitness centre; complimentary wireless internet in lounge and bar and two bars and the award-winning Milk & Honey restaurant. Broadband is available in all rooms.

The hotel offers full conference and function facilities for up to 55 guests for a seated banquet and up to 100 guests for a cocktail event. A new addition is the Globe Theatrette 39-seat boutique cinema which has weekly screenings of movies, and also available for private hire.

Heritage Suites

The Heritage Suites at our Napier hotel embody timeless style and luxury in the beautifully refurbished original 1932 Crown Hotel building:

Heritage Studio Suite – King-size bed, en suite with corner spa bath, luxurious bathrobes and unique original touches including a gas fireplace in one room. Sleep one to two persons.

Heritage Two-Bedroom Suite – Two elegant bedrooms with king-size beds, en suites (spa bath in one), luxurious bathrobes, lounge, and balcony. Sleep one to four persons.

Contemporary Rooms

The Crown Hotel in Napier offers 42 stylish and unique guest suites all with private decks, underfloor heating, kitchenettes and sea views.

Studio Room – Spacious rooms with en suite bathroom and expansive waterfront views. Sleep one to two persons.

Studio Premium Suite – Newly opened in November 2008, stunning studio rooms with spa baths and super-king-size split beds. Direct sea views. Sleep one to two persons.

One-Bedroom Suite – Spacious apartments with separate lounge and bedroom. Large bathroom, some with spa baths. Disabled rooms available. Sleep one to four persons.

One-Bedroom Premium Suite – Either top floor views with spa baths or large corner rooms with stunning sea views. Queen-size bed and fold out double sofa beds in corner rooms. Sleep one to four persons.

Two-Bedroom Suite – The convenience of two bedrooms, a separate lounge, and one bathroom. Ideal for families. Sleep one to five persons.

Two-Bedroom Premium Suite – Two luxurious bedrooms, each with an en suite (one with spa bath), lounge, full kitchen and laundry and expansive top floor sea views from a large private deck. Sleep one to four persons.

Crown Apartments

Located in the Ahuriri Village opposite our main Napier hotel, we have three luxurious and spacious self-contained apartments available for short, medium or long term stays.
