Our Russell accommodation is close to many of the Bay of Islands attractions and activities. Great walks on well maintained paths lead you to a private sandy beach cove, the village, and a wonderful high lookout over the Bay of Islands.

Bay of Islands Luxury Accommodation

A private entrance through tranquil, subtropical botanical gardens takes you to a private patio and spacious, elegantly appointed suite.

Enjoy a Continental breakfast on your own patio, or join others in the dining room for a hot breakfast, then select a book from the extensive library to enjoy in the hammock while the murmur of rare and protected species of bird life relaxes the senses.

Kiwi Forest Room – A dramatic room with a two-story wood ceiling, a world art collection, unique four-poster queen-size bed, roomy closets and drawer space for long stays.

The room is situated on the main floor with four entrances and can open directly to the lodge lounge, the dining room, the patio, and a bathroom with both shower and bath. Views with large glass windows on two sides include Russell harbour, subtropical gardens, the rain forest, and a small orchard garden.

Library Suite – Roomy suite with a queen-size bed, comfortable lounge area with couches, chairs and recliners, your own dining table for private meals and a private path to your own entrance and large patio. A long wall of windows overlooks beautiful Russell harbour. Just off the patio are paths through subtropical gardens.

An extensive wall to wall library provides reading for all tastes. Decorated with Afghan rugs, rich fabrics, fine furnishings, and original fine art. Your private bath has a shower and heated towel racks. Back stairs take you to the lodge's dining room and lounge.

Garden Suite – Choice of king-size or twin beds. A private path takes you to your own patio and entrance, where a suite with separate living room, bedroom, and bath are furnished with a world collection of fine art, Turkish and Afghan rugs, and designer furniture.

Floor to ceiling windows on two walls provides excellent views of Russell harbour and the subtropical rain forest on the border of the property. In cooler weather your floors are heated.

You have a dining table for private meals. The bathroom has a shower and heated towel racks. Back stairs connect you to the dining room and lounge.

All seminars involve participation and materials to use later.

About Bay of Islands

The townships of the historical Bay of Islands are alive with memories of the area’s colourful history. Visitors are welcome to explore the well-preserved relics of the past, both Maori and European, in romantic Russell, Paihia, Waitangi or Kerikeri.

Wherever you are in the Bay of Islands, it’s impossible to escape the lure of the sea.
