Addington City Motel Introduction

Addington City Motel is located opposite the Horncastle Arena, the Addington Racecourse, and of course the new AMI Crusaders Stadium.

The rugby, races, concerts, plays, meals and drinks are all on our doorstep!

Addington City Motel is the closest ground floor units only motel accommodation to the Railway Station and Addington shops, restaurants and bars. (Being a single storey motel there is no climbing of stairs or noise from upstairs units!)

We meet the train on arrival. No need to phone and wait for a shuttle! Please book in advance if you would like to make use of this service.

We also offer a FREE courtesy shuttle to and from the Railway Station for the TranzAlpine and Coastal Pacific train trips.

The Court Theatre, Pioneer Stadium, Christchurch Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, Hillmorton Hospital, Hagley Park and Westfield Riccarton Shopping Mall are all nearby. Our Addington motel is surrounded by local restaurants and bars.

The Christchurch CBD is only 2.5km away. Bus stops are located close to the motel, and buses travel into the city and back every 15 minutes. There is a free courtesy shuttle to and from the Casino in the City Centre. (Provided by Christchurch Casino.)
