33 Lomond Lodge Motel is a leisurely 50-metre walk from the centre of Queenstown, where you will find dozens of restaurants to choose from, great shopping and many of the attractions the town is famous for.

The small, friendly reception team have personally tried and tested many of the local activities, shops and restaurants and are more than happy to offer advice or help on bookings to Milford Sound, local wine tours or suggesting the most suitable ski fields for your level/ability.

Most of the staff are keen snowboarders and have lots of helpful hints on the best runs and snow packages on offer. Your hosts have a genuine commitment to making every guests stay at 33 Lomond Lodge as memorable as possible!!

Lodge Accommodation

The Motel offers 13 comfortable studio rooms, all with en suite bathrooms and kitchenettes (no oven), Plasma TV's/Sky/DVD and WiFi access. Some studio rooms have balconies with "Remarkable" lake views and the back drop of Queenstown Bay, other studio rooms have garden views and up to the Gondola.

There are also four two-bedroom family apartments which are fully self-contained, sleeping up to a max of seven people. All apartments are equipped with full kitchen facilities. Apartments are perfect for guests who may be looking to stay longer or travelling with families and wanting the comfort of "home away from home" facilities.

At the rear of the Lodge there is a private, sheltered garden area with BBQ and patio tables.

Other onsite facilities include communal guest kitchen and laundry which is coin operated, and complimentary tour booking service. All ski shuttle buses operate from the end of Man Street, which is 20 metres from the Lodge.

Apartment Accommodation

33 Lomond Lodge has four apartments, two on site at the lodge on Man Street and two off site in the Bay Centre, which is situated on Shotover Street, which is the main street in Queenstown.

The onsite apartments have two bedrooms and two bathrooms and the off site apartments have two bedrooms and one bathroom. All of the apartments are fully self-contained with full modern kitchens and separate dining areas with table/chairs, which are perfect for groups or families and can sleep up to seven persons.

The off site apartments both have heat pumps/air con units and full laundry facilities (coin operated) plus large outdoor deck areas, with patio table and chairs, which makes them great for relaxing outside after a long day enjoying Queenstown's many sights or a hard day skiing! A complimentary car parking space in the secure underground car park (opposite the Bay Centre) is included.

Flat 5 is lake facing, so the lounge and outdoor deck area offers stunning views across Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkable Mountains and is a wonderful apartment to enjoy the Winter Festival, Jazz week or the spectacular New Years Eve fireworks display, as you can view them from your private deck without the crowds!! Or simply sit back with a glass of local Pinot and watch the sunset over the mountains!

Please note the Bay Centre is a private complex of nine residential units and is on the first floor, there is no lift access.
