Our Tauranga motel units are quiet and spacious and set in a lovely garden setting. We guarantee a comfortable stay at outstanding value.

All units at our Tauranga motel are ground-floor with individual outdoor patios and in-room heating.

Studio Units:

Queen-size bed with additional single bed in living area. Sleep one to three.

One-Bedroom Units:

Queen-size bed with a single bed in the living area and two additional single beds in the bedroom. Full kitchen facilities. Sleep four to five.

Three-Bedroom Group/Family Unit:

Spacious, comfy unit. Queen-size and single bed in one room. Two single beds in the other two rooms. Full kitchen facilities. Sleeps up to seven.

• Studios: NZ$95 – NZ$150
• One-Bedroom Units: NZ$140 – NZ$210
• Three-Bedroom Unit: NZ$160 – NZ$270
• Rates are for two people, extra person NZ$20. Seasonal, corporate and pensioner rates may apply.

• Handy to Sulphur Point Marina and Mount Maunganui via Harbour Bridge. Take a walk around The Mount (Mauao) or swim at the popular beaches
• Walking distance to a nine-hole golf course, playground, inner harbour beach and coastal walks

Coastal Bay of Plenty lies east of the Kaimai-Mamaku Ranges and south of the Coromandel Peninsula of New Zealand's North Island.

This region seems to have it all—a mild, sunny climate, some of the country's most popular beaches and an abundance of orchards, especially citrus and kiwifruit. The main centre, Tauranga, has all the amenities of a major city.

Boat charters are available from Tauranga for big game fishing, snorkeling, dolphin watching or just cruising.

Out on the horizon is White Island, an active volcano usually identified by its trailing plume of steam. Helicopter trips land on the island from Rotorua and Whakatane, along with boat trips also from Whakatane.

There are a number of challenging activities in the area, including tandem parachute jumping, sky diving, a hair-raising ride in a bungee rocket and rafting down the Wairoa River, one of the most spectacular stretches of white water in the country.
