Westport Spa Motel is our Westport motor inn conveniently located in Westport on the West Coast of New Zealand. It the first motel on your right as you enter the main street of Westport, after crossing the Buller River Bridge.

Our Westport motor inn has eight apartments with lovely, big, double corner spa baths, plus two full access showers units. We aim to offer the discerning traveller a high level of service and comfort in our clean modern units.

About Westport

Located at the mouth of the Buller River on the northern bank and close to the Cape Foulwind headland, this town offers ready access to the fruit orchards and wineries of the Nelson and Marlborough regions as well as the Abel Tasman National Park and the spectacular Franz Josef and Fox Glacier regions of Westland.

Tourists can shop in Westport for greenstone (pounamu), the local treasure that is harvested from the West Coast's raging mountain rivers or sample some locally brewed organic beer from The West Coast Brewery.

Around Westport, attractions include the nearby fur seal breeding colony at Cape Foulwind, the Coaltown Museum with its simulated underground coal mine, the historic Denniston Incline, Solid Energy's Stockton open cast mine tours and the rainforests along the Charming Creek Walkway.
