Located at the top of the South Island of New Zealand above the golden sands of Kaiteriteri beach and on the doorstep to the popular Abel Tasman National Park, Kimi Ora Health Spa Resort is nestled in 12 hectares of hillside tranquil native bush with exclusive sea views.
Wake up to the beautiful sounds of Tuis and Bellbirds. Spend your day at our health resort in Nelson and or stroll along the beautiful Kaiteriteri Beach. Sea kayaking and paragliding are available nearby as is the scenic Abel Tasman trail.
Kimi Ora means “Seek Health” in Maori, and it is here you'll find it. All of our vegetables are grown on site in organic gardens and locally produced organic beers and wines are available. Join us for a meal in our predominantly organic vegetarian restaurant.
Our health spa in Nelson is based on European style therapies such as hot moor mud packs, fango, Kneipp hydrotherapy, hydro-electrical bath, underwater massage, oxygen therapy and also offers a range of body wraps, scrubs and massages.
The heated indoor pool connects to the solar heated outdoor pool by a swim channel and is equipped with a counter-stream swim unit and massage jets. Relax and enjoy our sauna, steam room and spa pool.
Our rustic, Swiss-style chalets have balconies with sea views and private spa baths. From honeymoon suites to cosy one bedroom chalets, your stay will be filled with comfort and tranquillity.
Spa Suites – units one to four are one-bedroom spa suites with queen-size bed and single bed, big balcony, kitchenette in living area, conservatory, spa bath, TV, video, stereo and a beautiful view to the beach.
Studio Rooms – units five to ten are queen-size bed and single bed, kitchenette, TV, balcony with view to beach.
Standard Rooms – units 11 to 15 are with king or queen-size bed and single bed, conservatory, balcony, kitchen, living area with two single beds, TV and view to beach.
Unit 16 – family two-bedroom spa suite with large super-king bed, second bedroom with two extra beds, kitchenette in living area, large terrace, spa bath, TV.
Unit 17 – one bedroom with a king-size bed and a single bed, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom, large lounge with fireplace, bed, kitchen, TV, terrace with view to the beach. Sleeps seven people maximum. Unit 17 and 23 can be used as one unit. The entire unit can sleep a maximum of nine people.
Unit 18 – one-bedroom spa suite. Queen-size bed and single bed, terrace, kitchenette in living area with two single beds, spa bath, TV and a beautiful view to the beach.
Unit 20 – lovely attic, bedroom with one king-twin bed, or two single beds, kitchen and TV, living room with two single beds, spa bath, high balcony with view to the beach.
Unit 22 – one double bedroom, or two single beds, living room with two single beds, kitchen, TV, terrace, with a view to the beach.
Each unit is equipped with a shower, toilet, phone, TV, fridge, kitchenette, blanket, duvet, linen, towels, heater and deck chairs.

Our health spa in Nelson is operated by Dr. Hans Brutscher, a German trained Medical Doctor (GP) and physiotherapist with a wealth of training and experience. Hans has worked in Germany and New Zealand as a spa doctor specialising in natural spa treatments.
Kimi Ora Health Spa Resort offers an attractive yet business-like atmosphere with two different sized meeting rooms, each providing a private, quiet, environment for your conference or workshop. Our goal is to help make your business meetings as pleasant and productive as possible.
Our experienced staff can provide assistance with all aspects of conference planning, including seating and room arrangement, audio-visual equipment, group activities and menu planning.
