Our self-contained accommodation in Otago is situated one kilometre from State Highway 1 between Dunedin and Palmerston in New Zealand, and is a five-minute drive from the beach.

Our location by road is:

• 30 minutes north of Dunedin
• Five minutes north of Waikouaiti
• Five minutes south of Palmerston
• One minute from State Highway 1
• One hour from Dunedin International Airport

Local Otago Activities

Guests can enjoy a number of attractions and activities both on the farm and in the local region.

Take a tour around our deer farm with John. Have a game of tennis on our tennis court. There's also a barbecue available for your use.

Take the short trip to Palmerston or Waikouaiti to soak up the local history, visit the beautiful white-sanded Waikouaiti beach or take in a game of golf at Waikouaiti or Palmerston's Ardleigh golf course. Go further afield to the city of Dunedin where you can enjoy the spectacular city sights, shopping, cafés and restaurants. Dunedin is home to New Zealand's first university.

Alternatively, visit the nearby Tavora Nature Reserve. 12 hectares of wildlife habitat is being restored as a habitat for small numbers of yellow-eyed penguins. During a walk around the reserve, you can spot seals and birds from the cliffs.

Enjoy some of the local inland scenery, including vast expanses of tussock country and rocky outcrops, and Mounts Baldy and Durden, where native kowhai abound in gullies.
