Springfield Holiday Lodge Introduction

Springfield Holiday Lodge is our Springfield holiday accommodation situated just 30 minutes inland from Christchurch.

Ideally located, our Springfield, Canterbury accommodation is close to three major ski fields and other adventure activities such as jet boating, fly-fishing, rock-climbing and nature safaris.

Our Springfield holiday accommodation's superb guest facilities include an outdoor spa pool, BBQ area, Sky Digital and home theatre. Backpackers are welcome and group discounts are available.

Our Springfield Holiday Accommodation

This Springfield motel and self-catering accommodation is fully serviced.

It is a brand-new, four-bedroom lodge which has spared no expense in state of the art facilities. Rooms range from: queen, double, single and bunks.

Situated just two minutes' walk from restaurant and bar, and only 20 minutes from the lake and river.

There is parking available on-site for cars, boats etc.

Tariff: NZ$40 single, NZ$15 extra person, NZ$90 double room, NZ$110 queen with mountain views, outdoor dining, DVD, TV, Sky Digital in every bedroom including single.

Activities available as a package deal: Waimak Alpine Jet, Unimog, horse treks, massages, golf trips, Tranzalpine train. Discounts are also available for booking the whole lodge and/or staying more than one night.

Skiing and Snowboarding – Springfield Holiday Lodge has six ski fields for skiing and snowboarding within 60 minutes' drive. The biggest being Porter Heights only 20 minutes' drive away.

Springfield is about 80 kilometres (less than one hour's drive) west of Christchurch, the gateway to the Alps sitting at the base of the magnificent Torlesse Range. The township offers a first night stopover for the start of your trip through the Southern Alps or your last night before heading into Christchurch.
