Taupo Quad Adventures Introduction

See the Taupo volcanic region as never before on an unforgettable adventure riding quad bikes in Taupo with Taupo Quad Adventures.

Our quad bike adventures in Taupo ride over purpose-built quad bike trails, all through scenic fern-clad native bush with breathtaking scenery.

On these trails we have one, two and three-hour trips.

No license or experience is necessary as your guides are specialised in training everyone from the “first time” rider to the “experienced” rider. We give you the freedom to ride at your own safe speed within your ability and to the conditions.

This is a real adventure!

If you're looking for something even more adventurous, experience the one-day trip in the Tongariro Forest Park. This is an amazing unique area with awesome trails, rivers to cross and spectacular views of the mountains and surrounds. Some practical ability is necessary on these trips and a minimum of two riders is required.

Full familiarisation is given on the safe operation of your quad bike before each trip commences. The more confident riders leave first behind the lead guide and slower, more nervous riders follow. You ride at your own safe speed within your ability and to the conditions. There is help on the trip as and when you need it.

This is an all-year-round activity. Many have said: “More fun in the rain and mud!”

Adventures on our Quad Bikes in Taupo

Adventures offered by Taupo Quad Adventures includes:

SPORTRAX rides (Latest Suzuki 250cc sports quad)

One Hour Start Up – for those who wish to discover the exhilarating feeling of adventure, riding over farm and bush trails. Give it ago!

Two Hour Freedom – freedom is the feeling you get from riding these quads. Adrenalin pumping fun, just like out riding with your mates, the best quads on the best trails.

4x4 Scenic rides (Honda 4wd 300cc quad)

One Hour Introductory – a great introduction ride! Easy to learn and ride with lots of fun through our native bush trails.

Two Hour Safari – awesome trails, awesome scenery through native bush. Spectacular views, great photo opportunity! Light refreshments provided.

Three Hour Explorer – taking it all in and checking out all the trails, testing your skills on some more technical trails, stopping for light refreshments.

One Day Wilderness – a real “Outback Adventure” into Tongariro Forest Park. River and stream crossings, all terrain trails and spectacular views of the mountains and surrounds. Lunch is provided. Some ability required. Minimum of two riders.

Location

We are situated 23 kilometres north of Taupo on State Highway 1, 15 minutes drive north from Taupo, and 40 minutes drive south from Rotorua.
