Kawarau Bungy Centre—World Home of Bungy

Kawarau Bridge Bungy

If you've heard of bungy, then you've heard of the Kawarau Bridge, home to the world's first and most famous of leaps. With an extensive jump menu you can choose how you bungy.

Get wet or stay dry, forwards and backwards, alone or with others. It's also the only bungy in Queenstown where you can choose to bob above the water, touch it, or get fully immersed. It's an adrenaline packed and exhilarating adventure.

Nevis Highwire Bungy

This is Australasia's highest bungy, 134 metres above the rugged Nevis River. Face your fear in what is for many one of the greatest personal challenges of their life.

Make no mistake; the Nevis Highwire Bungy is not for the nervous. With 8.5 seconds of falling it's a breathtaking ground rush like no other.

Even just getting here is fun, including four-wheel-driving through a high country sheep station and breathtaking cable car trip out to the Bungy Pod.

Ledge Bungy

This unique AJ Hackett Bungy site located in the heart of Queenstown will take your breath away. Ride the gondola 400 metres above Queenstown to the Skyline complex for panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu.

Purpose-built, the jump pod provides maximum rush combined with more bungy choices than ever before. It's also the only place you can bungy at night.

Ledge Sky Swing

This is the only Sky Swing right in Queenstown. Swingers get harnessed in and suspended over the town below, then they pull a release cord and send themselves swooping down and out. Just as your brain convinces you the fall will never stop, you begin arching out 400 metres over Queenstown.

Auckland Bungy

Tucked into the heart of the Auckland Harbour Bridge, you can now experience the iconic New Zealand adventure that is AJ Hackett Bungy, right here at the gateway to Aotearoa.

Auckland Harbour Bridge, home to the world's very first harbour bridge bungy jump, combines great views and iconic location to bring you the personal challenge that is bungy.

A 40-metre jump at high tide or 43 metres at low tide there's a variety of jump styles available with the “water touch” being a favourite. Utilising the latest in bungy technology, our purpose-built jump pod provides the platform for your leap out over the Waitemata Harbour. Spectators are welcome.

Auckland Bridge Climb

Our Auckland Bridge Climb offers an unforgettable 90-minute adventure under, around, up and over the historic Auckland Harbour Bridge. Climbers are provided with climb gear, safety harnesses, photographic memories and full commentary provided by experienced and trained climb crew.

Specially designed walkways provide a safe, enjoyable and easygoing experience while showcasing the incredible sights, sounds and activity of our harbour and city. Check out the bungy on your way past!

Auckland Highlights Climb

The Highlights Climb is a swifter yet still action-packed guided bridge climbing experience. It lasts just under one hour and features the same full access as the longer climb along with the amazing views of the city and the sea.

The 50-minute Highlights Climb can be customised for individual groups, and also features a photographic opportunity at the bridge “summit”.

Auckland Ultimate Bungy Spectator

For a full 35 minutes, visitors get closer to Bungy than at any other location in New Zealand, as they witness jumps taking place from the comfort of the award winning retro style pod.

An experienced tour guide will share stories of bungy and the Auckland bridge site, as well as point out the key Auckland landmarks visible from this enviable vantage-point.
