Flying the safe and reliable Schweizer 300C helicopter we can transport two passengers plus two kayaks (in purpose built racks) to get you quickly and safety to your river put in.

With 10 years experience in West Coast kayaking we know all the rivers, put ins, flows and river levels.

Hunting on the West Coast with Kokatahi Helicopters

There are plenty of huts and good campsites for overnight trips. Most hunting spots are within a 10 to 50-minute flight from Kokatahi Helicopters base.

West Coast Fishing with Kokatahi Helicopters

Just 15 minutes from Kokatahi Base and you will find yourself placed beside rivers with Brown trout and Rainbow trout, which can weigh up to 12 pounds.

The water will be clear blue and you can spot the fish from shore. Rivers to fish from include: Arahura, Styx, Whitcombe, Tuke, Hokitika.

All rivers are within a 15 to 30-minute flight and most have huts or a good campsite.
