Buller Adventure Tours hosts a variety of West Coast adventures from passive to adventurous and challenging like whitewater West Coast rafting, jet boating, horse trekking and quad biking.

Buller Gorge Jet Boating

Discover the enchanting Lower Buller Gorge on a fun packed 75-minute jet boating adventure. Skim the shallows, play in pressure waves and flirt with the massive rocks and craggy overhangs of this mighty river, then brace yourself for some awesome jetspins.

The is the complete jet boating experience: Personalised and informative. Fast and exciting. Dynamic and powerful jet boats. Awesome jetspins and breathtaking scenery! Plenty of photo opportunities along the way so bring your camera.

Small to large groups catered for at one time. Minimum of 5 and a maximum of 35 people. We provide spray jackets, pants and life jackets.

Buller Gorge Whitewater Rafting

Experience grade four West Coast rafting on the Buller Gorge 'Earthquake Slip' rapids, the largest volume whitewater of the mighty Buller River.

This action-packed river rafting adventure provides a variety of experiences and our professional rafting guides cater for all thrill levels with the emphasis on fun, participation and safety.

Rafting challenges include a nine metre cliff jump, grade two swim rapid and inflatable kayaking. We provide a delicious riverside BBQ lunch and refreshments to finish, plus top quality safety clothing, equipment and New Zealand qualified rafting guides. Just bring your towel and swimwear.

Family Fun West Coast Rafting

For the younger family opt for our 'Family Fun' rafting trip. Enjoy lots of grade one and two rapids and soak in some spectacular scenery. If conditions permit you can even paddle your own kayak.

This river experience is a great introduction to river rafting and a fantastic way to discover and experience the stunning Buller River.

Buller Gorge Horse Trekking

Explore the beautiful West Coast countryside on a quality horse trekking experience. Native bush trails, sandy river beaches and fresh water creeks are all part of this awesome horse trekking adventure.

Novice to experienced riders are catered for on this two-hour horse trek. We provide well cared for horses, experienced horse trek guides, boots and safety helmets.

Buller Gorge Quad Biking

Huge amounts of fun to be had on the latest, lightweight, easy to handle and ride LTZ250 Suzuki Sport Quad Bikes.

Our fantastic quad biking terrain ranges from easy to adventurous and challenging including twisting native bush trails, sandy river beaches, creek crossings and moderate to steep climbs and descents.

Novice to experienced quad bike riders can be catered for. We provide full safety instruction, experienced quad bike guides, boots, spray jackets, pants and safety helmet.
