Dux De Lux Introduction

Dux de Lux specialises in fresh New Zealand produce from the land and sea, prepared with international flavours blending fresh herbs and exotic spices.

Our food is prepared with imagination, thought and care in the knowledge that food is the fuel for the vehicle - which is our body.

Enjoy a cosy intimate dinner and glass of wine in the casual ambience of the historic restaurant, or meet with your friends for a pizza washed down with a pitcher of one of our award winning beers, in the shady spacious courtyard on a lazy summers day.

We pride ourselves in our legendary wholesome fresh salads, which can be a meal in themselves or accompany a main course. Our aromatic coffee and sumptuous desserts are the perfect finish to any night.

The Dux de Lux is a unique venue for all occasions and seasons, for the ravenously hungry or for in between snacks. Large group bookings are welcome and special buffet menus are available. Vegan and most cultural dietary requests can be catered for.

At the Dux we batch brew our own range of premium beers in our 'in house' brewery for the connoisseur of fine beers. We use the highest quality natural ingredients and our beers contain no added sugar.

Nightlife

The de lux lounge is the new addition to the Dux de Lux.

Situated above the Dux de Lux with warm inviting colours, big couches and pool tables, the lounge gives the feel of uniqueness and sophistication. Listen to mellow lounge music, play a game of backgammon or chess, and don't forget to 'shoot' a couple of games of pool...or simply come for a drink and mingle with the sophisticated crowd.

Apart from our own brewed beer and fine wine, we also offer colourful exotic coctails and delicious finger food. Dress smartly and come to enjoy a cosy relaxed atmosphere in what is destined to become Christchurch's getaway. Especially made to offer you a night...far from the maddening crowd.
