Homestays and Student Apartments

To comply with code of practice requirements for international students, all homestay accommodation arranged by King's Education Ltd has been carefully chosen and assessed.

All homestays are visited regularly and police vetted.

Homestay fee includes:

• Breakfast and cooked evening meal
• Lunch in the weekend
• Separate room with study desk, chair and reading light
• Room heaters in winter
• Our Homestay Coordinator has chosen good quality homestays to make our students feel comfortable
• Our homestays are near the city centre, or near a regular bus route

We choose homestays in safe areas of the city to ensure the safety of our students.

We require that you are treated as one of the family members and given as much opportunity as possible to share life in a New Zealand home in a positive way. Practicing your conversation is also a very important part of your stay.

Please remember that living in a 'kiwi' home may be very different from your own home. Learning to live in a New Zealand household is part of your new learning experience. On your first day at King's Education you will have an introduction to living in a Kiwi home, however, please make sure you speak with our Homestay Manager if you have any concerns or need advice.
