A Via Ferrata is a series of rungs, pegs, rails, ladders and cables permanently fixed into the cliff face. Our Queenstown climbing Via Ferrata system is expertly set up to allow anyone of moderate fitness to experience the excitement, exposure, and scenic beauty of Queenstown.

The Rungway offers 12 routes of varying length and difficultly—all expertly equipped with fixed rung and cable systems.

Mountaineering

Since we are based in Queenstown we have mountains at our doorstep. The Remarkables Range is the ideal base to learn everything from basic to advanced mountain skills. Or if you feel like climbing a peak we have Single Cone and Double Cone on offer all year round.

We provide single and multi day trips during the summer and winter months that cater for all your aspirations—let us personalize your next mountaineering trip.

Alpine Trekking

We specialise in above the bush line trekking. Our trips are undertaken in remote places in the Southern Lakes area, therefore expect very little formed trails and people.

The locations are stunning and the trips are personal, we can create your individual trip that meets your demands in terms of fitness and terrain.

Abseiling:

Prepare to enjoy the adrenaline rush of a thrilling abseil/rappel descent right on Queenstown's doorstep.

Our abseil site is just minutes from central Queenstown and we offer complimentary transport to our fabulous panoramic location on Queenstown Hill.

We provide all the technical equipment you need for a breathtaking abseil safely back to the ground below. You control the speed so there's even time to take in the panoramic scenery on the way down too!

Abseiling is a controlled activity, no previous experience is required. Full instruction, limited numbers and thorough checks by our qualified guides ensure your safety at all times.

Queenstown is located in the lower end of the South Island of New Zealand. Surrounded by a picturesque glacial lake, stunning mountain range, and absolute beauty, Queenstown is the adventure capital of New Zealand.

Queenstown was founded in the 1860s as a gold mining camp. Today, more than 140 years later, Queenstown is a sophisticated, serene tourist capital. The majestic Remarkables mountain range surrounds the town, and in winter is blanketed with snow, opening the town for skiers and snowboarders from all around the world.

With four distinct seasons and a huge range of activities available, Queenstown caters to everyone: all ages, all cultures, all interests.
