Auckland Adventures is a small and flexible company, allowing us to offer a friendly and personalised service with a variety of adventure tourism products including adventure tours in Auckland.
Auckland Adventures offers Auckland days tours and longer packages with friendly drivers and guides who are all experienced trampers and mountain bikers, and are all familiar with the areas, tracks, and landscapes.

Auckland Adventures is a diverse Auckland-based tour operator offering eco-tours within the Auckland area showing the cultural, geological and Maori history from inner city to native forest walks, rugged west coast beaches, rare bird colonies as well as trips to the famous sites of Rotorua, Taupo, Waitomo, Coromandel and the Bay of Islands. In addition we can provide tailored wine tours, kayaking, mountain biking, abseiling and team building activities.
Our daily adventure tours in Auckland operate from the West Coast of Auckland at Muriwai Beach. Muriwai is a spectacular beach with expansive black sand coastlines and the famous gannet colony.
Auckland Day Tours
We offer five Auckland day tours, which are currently the best value for money in the Auckland region:
Auckland West Coast Wine Tour – This personalised Auckland wine tour includes two or three winery stops depending on season and availability, a sightseeing visit to the wild west Tasman coast overlooking magnificent black sand beach of Muriwai and the world renowned 'Takapu' gannet colony. Half or full day.
Auckland Wilderness Adventure – Discover lush rainforest on this adventure tour of Auckland – see giant kauri trees, see the view from the Mt Eden volcano, enjoy free wine tasting, visit a local orchard, sample free native honey and more.
Auckland Mountain Bike Adventure – Instructional downhill riding for all levels of ability and fitness. A full day Auckland Adventures tour.
Auckland City Tour – This half day Auckland tour explores the city, showing you the sights and giving you a glimpse of how Aucklanders live and play.
Hobbiton Tour Matamata – This Auckland day tour allows you to visit the Hobbiton movie set located in a farm near Matamata in the North Island of New Zealand.
Our adventure tours of Auckland offer a free pick up service from the CBD area.
Auckland Adventures also operate a variety of group adventures for eight or more people. Group adventures include: abseiling, camping, team building weekends and skiing packages.
We also have a Team Building package that includes all meals, two nights camping, bush walking, abseiling, mountain biking, specifically designed team building programmes and visits to hot pools and wineries.
Bay of Islands Escape – A two day tour exploring the beautiful Bay of Islands. This area is rich in aquatic wildlife and offers you the chance to swim with dolphins, explore the coast by kayak and more.
Tongariro Crossing – This trip is only available in Summer and includes two nights shared accommodation, two breakfasts, a picnic style lunch for your day hiking, all transport, sightseeing, and a trip to a natural hot pool.
Rotorua, Taupo, and Waitomo Caves Adventure – On this exciting extended trip you can try many different activities and experience many weird and wonderful sights, sounds and even smells.
A number of other extended trips are also available.
About the Auckland Region
