Auckland Adventures Introduction

Auckland Adventures is a small and flexible company, allowing us to offer a friendly and personalised service with a variety of adventure tourism products including adventure tours in Auckland.

Auckland Adventures offers Auckland days tours and longer packages with friendly drivers and guides who are all experienced trampers and mountain bikers, and are all familiar with the areas, tracks, and landscapes.

Tailor your tours to your needs, choose any combinations of our Auckland adventure travel packages to create your own travel package that can last from one day to as many as you need.

Auckland Adventures is a diverse Auckland-based tour operator offering eco-tours within the Auckland area showing the cultural, geological and Maori history from inner city to native forest walks, rugged west coast beaches, rare bird colonies as well as trips to the famous sites of Rotorua, Taupo, Waitomo, Coromandel and the Bay of Islands. In addition offering tailored wine tours, kayaking, mountain biking, abseiling and team building.

Our daily adventure tour in Auckland operate on the West Coast of Auckland at Muriwai Beach. Muriwai is a spectacular beach with expansive black sand coastlines and the famous gannet colony.

Daily Adventure Tours in Auckland

Auckland Adventures offer three daily adventures, which are currently the best value for money in the Auckland region:

Mountain Bike Adventure – Instructional downhill riding for all levels of ability and fitness, full-day.

Wilderness Adventure – Bush walking, wilderness and beach discovery, full-day

Auckland Adventure – Afternoon sightseeing, includes Mt Eden vista of Auckland, winery and orchard tours, before heading west to Muriwai beach.

Each daily adventure travels out to the Muriwai black sand beach, taking the same itinerary to the West Coast of Auckland.

All daily adventure travel packages include:

• Visit to Mt Eden Volcano for a 360-degree view of Auckland City and visitors can choose to walk down into the volcanic crater
• Travel west to a local orchard. Pick fruit right off the trees and enjoy free wine tasting at one of Auckland's finest wineries
• Guided tour of the gannet bird colony at Muriwai Beach

Our adventure tours offer a free pick up service from central Auckland.

We also operates a variety of group adventures for eight or more people. Group adventures include: abseiling, camping, team building weekends and skiing packages.

We also have a Team Building package that includes all meals, two nights camping, bush walking, abseiling, mountain biking, specifically designed team building programmes and visits to hot pools and wineries.

The Auckland region is located in the far north of the North Island of New Zealand. Auckland City lies between the Hauraki Gulf of the Pacific Ocean to the east, the low Hunua Ranges to the south-east, the Manukau Harbour to the south-west, and the Waitakere Ranges and smaller ranges to the west and north-west.
