Ultimate Explorer – Grab life with both hands with this in-depth, all-points-covered action and adventure wilderness experience (27/28 days).

Grand Traverse – Like the sound of the Ultimate Explorer, but don't have enough time? Start at Auckland and check out a good chunk of the country on a one way south-facing mission to incredible Queenstown (15 days).

Hot Rocks – The North Island loop that includes the thermal wonders of New Zealand's volcanic region. And like all our loops, you can choose where you start and finish (Nine to ten days).

Planning Your Trip

Buses, baggage, bits and pieces – The comfortable Flying Kiwi buses carry all the equipment needed to make a home away from home. There's also a fully equipped customised trailer:

• Special kitchen so there are hot and tasty meals wherever you go
• Hot and cold water tanks for drinking and washing water on tap
• Luggage only locker to load up and leave
• Purpose built bike racks so your bicycle or ours is safe and ready to use
• One or two person tents (with mattresses) available for hire, or bring your own
• Canadian canoe to explore the remote South Island lake shores, islands and magical rivers
• Boogie boards for playing in the warm waters of the North Island
• A range of toys, choose from volley ball, rugby, cricket and all kinds of games

Whatever you choose we can help you with planning and equipment. It's best to arrange your stopover in advance to reserve your place back on the bus. There is no extra cost for this. If you change your plans after you have booked we charge a transfer fee of just NZ$25.
