Agrodome Introduction

The Agrodome is a unique must-do New Zealand experience located in Rotorua.

Our sheep show and farm tour gives international visitors an exclusive hands-on live experience of farming, and full interaction with our commercially farmed animals, such as sheep, goats, cattle, deer, alpacas, and ostriches.

Agrodome is also a haven for seekers of adventure sports.

Agrodome Sheep Show

The world famous sheep show in Rotorua is an action packed hour of farming entertainment and education, and provides an insight into agriculture in New Zealand.

The Sheep Shows run daily at 9:30 am, 11:00 am and 2:30 pm.

This sheep show is a must-see attraction for every visitor to Rotorua, New Zealand.

Agrodome Farm Tour

The authentic working and organic Farm Tour will take you on a fun filled hands on, one hour journey through our pure 160 hectare New Zealand farm.

The farm tours depart daily at 10:40 am, 12:10 pm, 1:30 pm and 3:40 pm, with an experienced guide.

Also offered at the Agrodome is a superb range of New Zealand souvenirs from the Dog & Whistle Souvenir Shop and Woollen Mill.

Adventure Sports

Swoop – Secure in a modified hang-glider harness, you're raised up 40 metres above the ground where you'll get to fly through the air. Go solo, tandam or triple, for the more people you have the faster, higher, and longer you go.

Zorb – Safely harnessed inside a huge plastic ball, you'll go rolling over 200 meters down a hill. We also have the Hydro Zorb, an awesome wash cycle where you can enjoy the cooling effect in summer, and warm water in winter.

Sit and slide, or run and somersault, whichever way takes your fancy, this one you'll enjoy.

Bungy – Jump solo or tandem from our purpose-built 43 metre high bungy tower. With an impeccable safety record, our staff are ready to heighten your experience.

AgroJet – Speed along in New Zealand's fasted jet-boating experience. Come join us on the purpose-built course at the Agrodome. This course is designed with speed in mind.

Freefall Xtreme – Experience the sensation of flying unattached, as if you were skydiving.

Welcome to the world of body flying. With a DC3 propeller powering you up into the air, this is the only wind tunnel in New Zealand. Live your dream and fly free-fall style in Rotorua.

Shweeb – A human powered monorail racetrack, which can reach speeds of up to 60 kilometres per hour. There is the option of racing each other, or against the clock.
