Our Milford Sound day trip has more stops for scenic shots and nature walks than any other company we make sure you get to see it all. We even have a special consent in the Fiordland National Park to show you the amazing Lake Gunn.
Come and join our Milford Sound tours.
Eco Tours Coach-Cruise-Coach ex Queenstown – We will pick you up from your accommodation at 8:15 am. Our first stop is for breakfast in Te Anau before making our way to the Fiordland National Park.
With the most picture stops along the way and many nature walks you'll get to experience the beauty of the area. We link up with the 3:15 pm cruise aboard the Milford Adventurer which is one of the smallest vessels operating on the Sound.
This gives you an up close and personal experience to take in the magnificent views of the fiord and enjoy complimentary coffee and tea and a delicious muffin.
We allow time for dinner in Te Anau on the return, so sit back and enjoy a movie on the trip back to Queenstown on our on-board cinema. We will drop you off at your accommodation in Queenstown around 8:30 pm. Transport only options are also available. Please enquire.
Our coach:
We operate a very comfortable 35-seater coach with features like reclining chairs, air conditioning, and an onboard cinema. So come onboard, sit back and enjoy the ride.

Fiordland is located on the south-west coast of the South Island of New Zealand.
As one of the most dramatic and beautiful parts of New Zealand, Fiordland has achieved World Heritage status and is often called the Sightseeing and Walking Capital of the world.
The power of Fiordland's scenery never fails to enthrall travellers. Waterfalls tumble hundreds of metres into massive fiords; ancient rainforest clings impossibly to the mountains; shimmering lakes and granite peaks look the same today as they did a thousand years ago.
Fiordland was well known to Maori, who have many legends recounting its formation and naming. Demi-god Tute Rakiwhanoa is said to have carved the rugged landscape from formless rock, hewing out the steep sided valleys with his adzes.
The Fiordland National Park is the largest national park in New Zealand, and one of the largest in the world. It stretches 230 kilometres from north-east to south-west. At its broadest it is 80 kilometres across. The isolation of the region has encouraged endemism-over 700 plants are found only in Fiordland. Three of the country's 'great walks' (the Milford, Routeburn and Kepler tracks) are located within the park's boundaries; there is also a variety of short walks to enjoy.
The nearby Te Anau township has a range of fine restaurants, seven days a week shopping and can cater for all levels of accommodation. Local attractions include fishing, golf, 4WD (four-wheel driving), motorbikes, hunting and cave explorations.
