Our Milford Sound Small Group Tours

Fiordland Tours can customise their tours to suit the needs of the visitors. Since they operate small coaches and vans they can leave from Te Anau as late as 11:00 am and return when the tour group feels they have absorbed all they can.

• Leave 8:30 am, return 6:00 pm (these times can be altered by arrangement)
• Pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation at Te Anau or Manapouri
• Tours have a maximum number of 15

Milford Sound

Milford Sound, described by Rudyard Kipling as the 'eighth wonder of the world', was carved out during successive ice ages and, at its deepest point off Mitre Peak, plunges to a depth of 265 metres. The grandeur of Milford Sound can be appreciated from the air or water. Bowen Falls, hurtling 165 metres into the sea, and the Stirling Falls further down the sound, set amidst the towering cliffs and dwarfed by Mitre Peak, are truly spectacular after rain.
