Knightrider – Night Bus Service

Knightrider Bus Services LTD is based in Christchurch New Zealand and since 2000 has been involved with providing a friendly, convenient, quality South Island shuttle service between Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill.

Our South Island bus service runs every evening EXCEPT Saturdays from Invercargill and Christchurch using State highway One picking up or dropping off passengers as required.

The service heading North to Christchurch passes through Dunedin around 20:30 and the service heading South for Invercargill passes through Dunedin around 23:40.

We cater to a wide clientele base from international travellers, students, work commuters and holiday goers.

Knightrider overnight travel is the easiest way to meet the early morning flights out of Christchurch and we can advise you on connecting travel services to Nelson, Picton and the West Coast.

With prior notification we can assist you with arranging backpacker accommodation in Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill or any other of the main stops on our route.

All fares are available on enquiry. Student discounts can apply if applicable.

Our South Island Shuttle Service Fleet

Knightrider Bus Service aims to provide an as comfortable ride as possible.

To this end we have reduced the seating so as to give as much legroom as possible combined with reclining seats.

All our South Island bus service vehicles are subject to a strict maintenance and safety regime.

Our buses have:

• Air conditioning
• Video equipment
• Radio's and tape decks
• Reclining seats

There is limited room available for bikes, boards and skis (all at extra cost and prior notification essential).

Luggage allowance is two normal sized suitcases per passenger or one giant sized walk in trolley bag. Excess baggage and freight will be chargeable at NZ$5 minimum per item.

KnightRider is also available for charter work for parties up to 20. Please contact us for further information.
