Number One Limousines offer classic and extremely rare limousine rentals in Auckland.
Our New Zealand limousines include several classic Mercedes Benz 600 Pullman limousines, including a matching pair originally owned by Hugh Hefner of Playboy, and an extremely rare 600 Landaulet.
Our limousine rentals in Auckland also include a selection of Bentleys, from a magnificent 1965 S3 limousine with coachwork by James Young, to the twin turbo Arnage T.
A selection from the range of New Zealand limousines available from Number One Limousines in Auckland are:
MB 600 Pullman – two classic Mercedes Benz 600 Pullman limousines, the last of the hand built Mercedes, were ordered new from the factory in Stuttgart by Hugh Hefner of Playboy magazine.
After passing from his ownership, they were separated and went into private collections until we acquired the 1969 car in late 2003, followed by the “one in a billion” opportunity to acquire its twin, the 1971 car, just a few months later in early 2004, and re-unite them after several years apart.
MB 600 Landaulet – the rarest of the hand built 600 limousines was the Landaulet, of which only 59 were ever made.
These exclusive parade cars were owned by royalty and heads of state, including Pope Paul VI.
The previous owner of this car was a Columbian businessman. The head of a highly profitable “import-export” cartel, he is now serving a number of life sentences in a US Federal penitentiary.
Bentley Turbo R – This is the car that put the performance back into Bentley, and rejuvenated the marques fortunes.
The Garrett T4 turbocharger on this cars 6.75 litre V8 has been blueprinted and the GM Turbo 400 transmission has been uprated to “Police Pursuit” specifications, and a low restriction exhaust system fitted. The suspension has been lowered, and the finned five spoke 17″ alloys from a Continental R have been fitted.
Bentley Azure – These fabulous convertibles are amongst the last of the real Bentleys, with an unmatched style and presence. A magnificent blend of English craftsmanship and body styling by Pininfarina, powered by the 6.75 litre turbocharged Bentley V8 with four-stage transmission.
This car was custom built for a wealthy Singaporean who specified the Canadian redwood trim and red and black leather interior. Subsequently it has been fitted with Bentley SC 18" alloys and low profile tyres, and also features our trademark chromed bonnet spikes, and radiator shell mounted chromed skull with red LED eyes, both of which can be removed if requested.
SLK 32 AMG – The numbers speak for themselves, approximately 260 kilowatts = 350 horsepower = zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in 4.9 seconds and at the touch of a switch it goes from a sharp looking coupe to a cool convertible in less than 30 seconds.
This SLK32 is unique in Magma red with a special order two tone red and black full leather interior, black lacquered woodwork, and custom made, hand stitched, red leather covered roll hoops. Faster than most Ferraris and Porsches, the SLK is a pocket rocket and a modern classic.

Auckland is situated on and around a narrow isthmus that is flanked by two magnificent harbours—the Waitemata to the east and the Manukau to the west.
Try not to think of Auckland as a city, even though it’s New Zealand’s largest. Think of it as half urban, half marine—a cosmopolitan experience wrapped up in a fascinating water world that’s dotted with over 50 islands.
Auckland’s amazing geography and warm, humid climate has inspired a lifestyle that’s regularly ranked in the world’s top ten. In just half an hour you can be almost anywhere—sailing to an island, trekking through the rainforest, picnicking on a volcano, sampling wines at a vineyard or wandering a wild, black sand surf beach. Auckland’s layout makes it easy to jump quickly from one theme to another.
Auckland does the urban side of life just as well as it does adventure. America’s Cup activity has added an infusion of exciting new restaurants and bars. You’ll feast on culinary masterpieces that draw from the cuisine styles of Europe, the Mediterranean, Polynesia, Japan and Thailand. In the stylish precincts of Parnell, Ponsonby and Viaduct Basin, scores of restaurants compete for your attention.
A reputation for great art and fashion makes Auckland a shopper’s paradise. Within the city zone you’ll find originality and flair everywhere you look. Local theatre and live music gigs are another opportunity to discover the creative side of New Zealand culture.
