New Zealand has 14 National Parks throughout the country, preserving our national heritage. These are vast protected areas of our most treasured wilderness - forests, wildlife and landscapes. Offering many days of hiking for the intrepid traveller, and camping along walking tracks, you can discover the most dramatic and beautiful parts of our spectacular country, from the ancient rainforests to majestic mountains and waterfalls hundreds of metres tall.
