Kaitaia is a small town located at the base of the Aupouri Peninsula, in the Northland region of New Zealand. Kaitaia is New Zealand's northernmost town and the largest town before Cape Reinga, at the very top of New Zealand. Kaitaia activities include four-wheel driving, boating, fishing, hiking and walking. Kaitaia Airport is available for small flights.
