Eltham Nature and Eco Tourism

Eltham is located just south of Stratford in Taranaki, New Zealand. Eltham is well-known for several reasons, but mostly it is famous for its cheese – Eltham is the home to the production of Fonterra’s gourmet cheeses and where all Mainland cheese is cut and packaged.

Many people also visit Eltham for its vintage shops, they were recently voted a ‘Must Do’ by locals. Be sure to explore ‘The Bank’ and the many other shops in the pretty Victorian buildings in the main street.
