Mokau is a small village north of New Plymouth in Taranaki, New Zealand. Mokau offers great fishing, including whitebait, snapper and kahawai. There are also some good surf breaks that can swell to up to six feet. Stay in Mokau and explore natural coastal caves and islands or kayak the Mokau River.
