Paraparaumu is the main town on the Kapiti Coast of New Zealand. Located about 50 kilometres, or a 35-minute drive, from Wellington City, Paraparaumu is one of the fastest growing urban areas in New Zealand. Its sister town, Paraparaumu Beach lies opposite Kapiti Island. Paraparaumu Beach is home to the Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club.
